They call his music “Mysticssippi”.
Internationally acclaimed Canadian guitarist/singer-songwriter Harry Manx returns to Australia bringing with him a stunning new live album.
Dubbed an "essential link" between the music of East and West, Manx creates musical short stories that wed the tradition of earthy American 12-bar blues with a subtle hint of mystical Indian ragas. Playing the Mohan Veena, lap steel, harmonica and banjo, Manx quickly envelops the audience into what has been dubbed "the Harry Zone" with his warm vocals and hauntingly beautiful melodies.
Manx generates a unique sound that is hard to forget and deliciously addictive to listen to. Previous sold out nationwide tours prove this.
“For sheer musical adventure, few compare with Manx”… Bruce Elder, Sydney Morning Herald.
“I’ve discovered something new tonight, seeing Harry play”… Bruce Springsteen, 2005.
