QUINKAN 6-7 MAY 08



Marilyn Miller's Quinkan is based on the Creation Spirits of Far North Queensland. It is a Dance production devised to a wholly original Classical and composed score. A work that expresses, in a powerfully rhythmic and physicalized form, aspects of the spiritual world conflicting with the physical world of loss and renewal.

Special guest Gary Lang will be joined by a reputable cast of Brisbane performers in a 50 minute journey into the realm of the Dancer, the Spirit and the North Queenslane landscape....where QUINKAN and human co-exist, where land and spirit are intertwined and where dance and life are one and the same.
