Welcome to another fantastic year at the Judy!

Now that the Christmas Trees have come down and we have recovered from our New Year celebrations its time to prepare ourselves for another exciting year.

The 2008 program is jam packed with the best theatre and performance Australia has to offer planned for 2008. Expect to see the unexpected and of course the fantastic Judy favourites. Stay tuned for details!

So what’s on in January.......

The year kicks off with the national literary awards, The Aurealis Awards on Saturday 26th. Meet some of Australia’s most exciting authors and join in celebrating the very best of Australian science fiction, fantasy and horror.

So what’s on in February......

Make sure you drop past on Friday 8th of February to experience an all-girl blast of quirky folk/pop by two of Brisbane's amazingly talented independent singer musicians, Emma Dean and Tara Simmons. Cello, Violin, Piano, electro-laptop, double bass......these girls have got the lot!

What is the definition of NEW MUSIC? Well, according to Linsey Pollak and Mal Webb its 'Two outrageous performers + electric instruments + myriad sounds + recordings + remising + looping'. You are invited to get looped with Professor Squealy Deetbum and his musical bicycle instrument, alongside the adventurous Mal Webb in the hilarious Loooooping Live on Saturday 9th February.
