In free-rock terms, next Wednesday is your opportunity to bare witness to Damo Suzuki - giant in the great pantheon of 20th Century, avant-garde music.
In the first of the Judy’s Sound Logic Series, vocalist and ex-frontman for iconic 1970s Krautrock outfit CAN, Damo Suzuki joins Kranky recording artists, The Autistic Daughters in a night of free rock arrangements and tremors of the trachea.
Warming up to their very own headline gig on Feb 15 also at the Judy, are members of Taste of Tea, joining David Suzuki’s Network for this one night of psychedelic, tribal, free-spiritual funk, rocknroll, ocean of noise!
Suzuki’s stylings have influenced seminal outfits Sonic Youth, The Mars Volta, Devo and Joy Division.
