Working within a pop-culture idiom, Claire Marshall investigates the notion of scenesters and the Fortitude Valley nightlife. Drawing inspiration from observations in the Valley, the process examines the good, the bad and the ugly side of club culture and human behaviour.

The Ausdance Queensland Brisbane Front choreographic residency program provides Brisbane-based choreographers with the opportunity of a supported four week exploration into dance for non-traditional performance spaces, culminating in a work-ndevelopment showing and facilitated forum.

Set in and outside the Judith Wright Centre ShopFront space, Hey Scenester provides a voyeuristic, eye-opening look at nightlife and club culture – an exposé of the scene and not so seen!
