In June 2009, it will be twenty-five years since Brian & Denise Cahill founded Queensland Musical Theatre. To mark the occasion we will present a series of Gala Concerts that will incorporate songs from many of our past Shows – Broadway, Operetta et cetera – and a selection of Gilbert & Sullivan.

Also, there will be a presentation of choral numbers for which we are famous – the “True Sound” of QMT when all our voices combine. An Orchestra will accompany us on stage.

Some of the Broadway Shows we included are:- Annie Get Your Gun, The Music Man, Calamity Jane, Call Me Madam!, Mame, Anything Goes!, Carousel, Oklahoma!, South Pacific, My Fair Lady, Brigadoon, Kiss Me Kate!, Oliver!, Rodgers, Hart & Hammerstein, and Les Misérables; and from Operetta:- Bitter Sweet, Show Boat, White Horse Inn, The Merry Widow, The Belle of New York and Merrie England and of the Savoy operas:- The Mikado, The Gondoliers, The Pirates of Penzance, HMS Pinafore, Patience, Ruddigore and Trial by Jury.
